2011+ (Owner/Operator) President
2001+ (Sole Proprietor) Photographer, Graphics Designer
In 2001, I changed the name of my photography business (Sunshine Preservation) and split my photography into separate entities:
RedMartian Photography: Event Photography (Motorcycle Events)
Canyon Lake Photography: Local Event Photography (Canyon Lake Area)
The Special Occasion: Formal Photography (Weddings)
I also began using the digital image and graphics manipulation knowledge I had learned through the years for Graphics Design.
Planned Systems International
2006 - 2010 (W2) Senior Software Engineer
2001 - 2006 (1099) Software Engineering Consultant
1998+ (Sole Proprietor) Software Engineering Consultant
Systems Evolution Inc.
1997-1998 (1099) Contract Software Engineer
In 1997, Robert Rhodes (a contractor of mine at HL&P with whom I had become friends) convinced me that I was wasting my technical abilities working for HL&P. After much prodding, I walked away from the only full-time 'career' I had in my adult life and became a Contract Software Engineer. I contracted for Robert at SEI for a short time, but did not like traveling & being away from my son, so I started doing my own consulting.
Sunshine Preservation Photography
1985-2001 (Sole Proprietor) Photographer
I love Photography! In 1985, 2 friends of mine (Mike & Angie) asked me to photograph their wedding. It was not a big affair, and they had a small reception at the church where they married. During that reception, the Minister that officiated ask me about my photography, commenting that I seemed to be the most congenial photographer he had ever had in his church. After that, he began recommending me to couples that came to him for wedding services; and over the next 7 years I 'married' each of his 3 daughters! Thus began my life as a paid photographer!
Houston Lighting & Power
1989 - 1997 (W2) Telecommunications - Senior Programmer/Developer
1977 - 1989 (W2) Electrical Distribution Engineering - Senior Technician
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1975. After a short trip to Texas A&M University, I spent 20 years in Houston (1977-1997) before I escaped and came back to the Bexar/Comal County area!
I am proud to say that my son, Adam Mozisek (2011 Graduate of Canyon Lake High School), is a U.S. Marine.
